CELTS TAKE CONTROL !!

 As I stated in my previous blog. No NBA champion has ever won without taking a game on the opponents court and , the Celts will be no different, if they wish to be Champions they must go to Detroit and take one from the Pistons to bring home court back to Boston , this was a given before the series started and is now a nessesity.
Well now , I guess the celts were paying attention. not only did they take one from the Pistons they took it to the Pistons. Yes they came out like gang busters and built an early lead , Kevin Garnett Scored 22 points to lead Boston to an 94-80 victory over the pistons saturday night, as the Celtics sprinted out to a 25-17 lead in the first quarter, the Pistons made a run of thir own to pull within 4 early in the second quarter, but Boston went on a 16-3 run to up the lead to 18 points , this run was all the more impressive considering Pierce had only 2 points in this span , the score stood at 50-32 at halftime.
The Pistons were not done as they surged back to close the 18 point gap to 13 early in the second half but that was as close as it would get as the celtics regained control and never looked back Garnett 22 Pierce 14 and Allen 11 accounted for half of Bostons 94 points . Detroits Richard Hamilton led the pistons with 26 points. and rookie Rodney Stuckie put up 17 for the motor city club. however two of the pistons starters had bad games as Tayshawn Prince scored only 4 points and Chauncey billups put up six . combined they shot only 3 for 17
Well the Celtics have taken the series lead and now have control of home court . it seems as if this club knows what must be done to win , I for one will not bet against them . tune in monday as the Celts look to put a hammer lock on the pistons and cement thier hold on this series.
does anyone else smell cigar smoke ?
