The Celts are the 2007-2008 NBA Champions with a blowout win, 131-92 over the Los Angeles LakersThe game started off a bit slow for the Celts. They looked a little rusty but I guess both sides looked tentative too. A little wear and tear from the travel could of been the cause.Ray Allen started off well. He scored the Celts opening shots. Rondo was trying to make plays and got a bunch of steals. He seemed to be back into the swing of things. At least the ankle didn't...

The Celts lose a tough one 103-98. They really should of sealed the Finals but its not all bad that the Celts win it at home. The game started off as one would expect with the Lakers trying to start aggressively. The Celts fell behind yet again. The Celts still had problems getting shots to fall again and the Lakers were making all theirs so it seemed. It seemed that not having Perks inside presence hurt.Kobe made a bunch of threes which was frustrating to see. He...

The Celts won 97-91. It was a tale of two games. I'm just glad the Celts came out on top.The game started off very bad for the Celts. No one seemed to make any shots and the Lakers were making all theirs. It was ugly. No doubt about it. The pace and calls just didn't seem to be going the Celts way. They just had to weather the storm. Odom seemed to find new life with his scoring.Rondo was pretty ineffective so he ended up sitting out most of the game.

The Celts lose a tough one 87-81. The game started off as one would expect. The Lakers were agressive and went to the basket as much as possible. They took an early lead. The Celts would have to weather the early drive. The Celts certainly got more fouls as one expected. Too many early turnovers too.As one expected, Kobe would be the one who would be leading the charge for the Lakers.Rondo had the hot hand but that wasn't a good sign. The Celts had to get...

The Celts won a thriller 108-102 to take a two game lead in the NBA Finals. The game started off tough The Celts were pushing things so it seemed but the Lakers were desperate and agressive. The missed a bunch of layups early on in the game. Kobe was still rather cool at the start. The Celts turned over the ball though. Paul Pierce seemed like he was on a mission. He didn't seemed to be having any problems from his knee. Good sign. KG did have some open shots but didn't...

After all these years, the Boston Celtics are back in the Finals. It has been a long and grueling season but its been fun to see the guys grow together. I'm sick of the hype and have managed to miss most of it.The Celts have a better than average shot at winning the title. Defense will be the key. They have to showcase why they were one of the best if not the best defensive team this past season. The Celts are much more physical to the finesse offense of the Lakers....

The Celts win the game, 89-81 and the series!!!!!! Congratulations to the Boston Celtics!!!!The game started off ok. The Celts were shooting well and dealt very well with the initial Piston's surge. One would expect them to come out on fire with a lot of energy. No. The Celts held the lead with the hot hand of Ray Allen. Who knew. He had some big threes early on in the game. The Pistons did remain close with Rip Hamilton's hot shooting. What injury? What an actor....

The Celts win a close one 106-102. WoahThe game started off with a defensive battle for both sides. The defense was physical and tough. Both sides turned over the ball too much. Rondo was big here.Pierce and Ray made a few big shots and the Celts made a nice run to build a lead. It was good to see Ray make a three. He missed an earlier jump shot. Perk made some good shots too. Still the game was too close.Wallace and Billups made far too many three...

The Pistons had problems scoring early but as usual, they would catch up thanks to some poor Celts shooting and good defense. As soon as the starters went to the bench, the Celts lost their big lead. The series between the Boston Celtics and Detroit Pistons will be a lot tougher and harder than the past series. Both teams are closely matched up. However, with Detroit's experience in the playoffs, you really have to give them the nod. Its just a simple fact that these guys have all been through the playoff wars and have succeeded. This Celtics team is learning on the job. The key match up will be Rondo vs Billups. Rajon had his way against Chancey in their last meeting. It'll...
