The Celts lose 74-69. This was one, they could of won.
The game started off a bit rocky for the Celts again. They were able to hang with the Cavs but their shoot selection was not great. The Celts took too many jump shots and they weren't going in to start.
KG looked pretty good and definitely motivated. Rondo looked to have a good start.
Lebron was trying to do too much and turned it over a few times.
The defense definitely got tight on both sides and the game a very low scoring one in the first quarter.
The problem for the Celts was that they weren't getting any offensive rebounds. They had to change it. The defense was fine. Eddie House gave a boost to the Celts.
The guys continued their good defense and forced the Cavs to take bad shots. The Celts took a small lead in the second quarter. The Cavs continued to get fouled and go to the line. Lebron took more than the whole Celts team. No shock. That kept them in the game.
The problem for the Celts was that they cooled off. The Cavs made a run towards the end of the half. And the refs continued to make calls against them. The Celts had to weather this all. They were down 42-33 at the half.
The third quarter started off bad and kept getting worse. The Celts lost their composure and just weren't able to make any shots. It was frustrating to say the least. The Cavs built up a huge 16pt lead.
The Celts did calm down and started chipping away at the lead. They went on a nice little run. KG made a key shot.. Pierce made a three to cut the lead to three. Eddie House was in there while Rajon sat out. Perkins continued to be too aggressive and got five fouls.
The Cavs would build up the lead again though. Lebron woke up and started scoring.
But the Celts made their own run yet again and cut the lead down to seven. It was such an up and down game.
*bleep* the refs. It was so infuriating to see all the bad calls and non-calls. Uggh.
