Well here we go again another game seven at the garden!   Yes I know its not THAT garden, and Larry legend won’t be suiting up, and Bill Russell is seventy something, and the big three are no longer Bird Parrish and Mc’Hale, but the ghosts are still there. .And the Leprechauns , yes the Leprechauns !

You don’t think they disappeared with the old garden , hell no they’re still there , and this is when they come out.

The Hawks should have been swept in four , but they are still sticking around, why? Are they really that good? Do they match up that well with us ? Are we taking them too lightly ? Nah none of the above, it’s the ghosts of Celtics past , they want a seven game series, and you know the Celts don’t lose in seven , so I am not worried about tonight , tonight is just the new gardens baptism by fire!

Today is the day the Celts bring back the leprechauns and the ghosts, they will come out of the rafters and choke the Hawks with the vestiges of Reds cigar smoke , they will assure that this new garden has a history as proud as the one that stood before it,  I can see Cousy dribbling down court, and hear Johny Most scream Havelcheck stole the ball , I can see bird launching a three in Moses face and I can see D.J. with a no look pass to Mc’hale under the baseline , yes the Celts will win . And the leprechauns will own the night , If you crinckle up your nose and sniff the air you will smell Reds cigar as he lights that victory smoke as he has forever, and will again from his perch in the rafters ,
